The High Force Centre was purchased by Darlington & District Youth & Community Association in February 2002, which is a registered charity whose mission statement is to ' work with people to promote social inclusion and strengthen communities'

The High Force Centre is part of a charity whose aims and objectives are to help young people, especially, but not exclusively, through leisure time activities, thus giving them the chance to learn new skills and challenges in a wide range of stimulating and imaginative settings.

We offer a variety of courses for young people and adults, such as survival team building, holidays and education. We can organise a range of outdoor activities: kayaking; canoeing, mountaineering, hill walking, scrambling, gorge walking; abseiling; bush craft survival, raft building any many more, through very reputable outdoor providers who have their AALA licence etc. We can organise all the checks etc on your behalf.
