The High Force Centre was purchased by Darlington & District Youth & Community Association in February 2002, which is a registered charity whose mission statement is to ' work with people to promote social inclusion and strengthen communities' The High Force Centre is part of a charity whose aims and objectives are to help young people, especially, but not exclusively, through leisure time activities, thus giving them the chance to learn new skills and challenges in a wide range of stimulating and imaginative settings. We offer a variety of courses for young people and adults, such as survival team building, holidays and education. We can organise a range of outdoor activities: kayaking; canoeing, mountaineering, hill walking, scrambling, gorge walking; abseiling; bush craft survival, raft building any many more, through very reputable outdoor providers who have their AALA licence etc. We can organise all the checks etc on your behalf. You may just want to use the centre as a residential and organise your own activities |
