About The Blitz Buses

The Blitz

Is a converted bus designed by young people to provide a mobile youth provision, which can travel to any neighbourhood within Darlington & District.

It can provide opportunities for young people up to the age of 25 years who may not use traditional youth provision.

The bus is driven by approved drivers and is staffed by qualified youth workers and peer mentors who have all undergone enhanced police checks.

The bus is equipped with a TV, video, Hi-Fi, Playstation and is a place where the young people can “hang out” in a safe environment with other young people.
